Post 4th Cleanups

Every year, the aftermath of the July 4th celebrations leaves our beloved beaches needing a helping hand. The days following the festivities often stand as the dirtiest days on the beach, with scattered litter left behind from the festivities threatening marine life. This year, let's come together for a cleanup effort to reclaim the shore and restore the beauty of our coastline from Brookings to Astoria.

Get Involved

Join fellow community members in a collective initiative to clear away the remnants of celebrations—fireworks debris, plastic waste, and more. Let's turn the days following the 4th of July into a time for restoration and pride in our coastal home. Together, we'll make a tangible difference in restoring the natural beauty of our shores.

Our Partners

In an exciting development for this year’s efforts, we are partnering with the Newport Chapter of the Surfrider Foundation to significantly amplify our impact, bringing together more resources, expertise, and community involvement to address the pressing environmental challenges facing our coastal areas in Lincoln County. We thank the NOAA Marine Debris Program for supporting this collaboration and the Oregon Parks & Recreation Department for supporting cleanups happening across the region on this important weekend.
