Turn the Tide. Adopt a Beach!
Adopting a beach is simple. It only takes one person to get things started. Every cleanup, no matter how large or small, makes a big difference toward the health of our public beaches!
During the pilot phase, all program participants are required to clean their adopted stretch at least three times in one year and report their results back to SOLVE. One of the cleanups may take place during the annual coastwide cleanup events:
What beaches are available for adoption?
SOLVE is currently supporting groups, families or individuals who would like to adopt their favorite stretch of beach in Clatsop or Tillamook County. There are several beaches open for adoption. Please contact SOLVE if you are interested in a specific location.
