Adopt-A-Beach

Make a meaningful difference along Oregon's shorelines.

Adopting a beach is simple. It only takes one person to get things started. Fishing or boating clubs, businesses, schools, community organizations, or any environmentally concerned citizen can Adopt-A-Beach.

Participants commit to taking care of their favorite stretch of beach for 2-years by removing litter and marine debris. Every volunteer cleanup, no matter how large or small, makes a big difference!

Turn the Tide on Trash

Marine debris is litter that has been released by humans into the ocean. It comes in many forms, such as plastic bags to abandon fishing gear and cigarettes. No matter what the debris, it threatens the health and safety of Oregon’s public beaches, wildlife, and coastal communities.

Solutions to this problem start locally. Adopt-A-Beach and help steward the future.
