2023 Hagg Lake Shoreline Clean-Up

Be a part of SOLVE's annual Beach & Riverside Cleanup and help pick up litter along the shoreline of Hagg Lake.  The end of summer brings the lowest water levels to the Lake, exposing litter and debris that is easy to remove from the exposed shoreline.  

Advanced Registration: Is required. Please sign up (green button below) ahead of time to guarantee your spot.

Meeting Location: Volunteers will meet at the C-Ramp Recreation Area at Henry Hagg Lake. Look for the Washington County Parks canopy down by the boat ramp and bright blue rental shack.

What to Bring: Volunteers are encouraged to bring any personal supplies that will help our resources go further such as garbage bags, work gloves, buckets, trash grabbers, etc. If you bring personal belongings wear a backpack so that you can pick up trash hands free. Wear closed-toed shoes and dress for the weather. Bring a rain jacket if the forecast calls for rain and wear sunscreen and a hat if it is sunny. This event will go on rain or shine. And it is also recommended that volunteers bring a re-usable water bottle to stay hydrated during the event.

What's Provided: Trash grabbers, bags and gloves

Restrooms: Several bathrooms with running water are located at C-Ramp Recreation Area.

Parking: Parking is available at C-Ramp Recreation Area. A pass is required to park and may be purchased for $7, $5 for seniors and veterans. Passes are available free of charge upon request.

Transit: Not available nearby

Accessibility: This area may not be easily accessible for folks with mobility concerns.

Translation Services: There will not be a Spanish speaker present at this event.

Youth Volunteers: Volunteers 17 and under must be accompanied by an authorized adult.
