Waterway Cleanup Series Wrap-Up at High Rocks Park

Join SOLVE for the wrap-up event of the Waterway Cleanup Series, sponsored by Clackamas Water Environment Services.  The cleanup series ran from May to September and we are looking for volunteers like you dedicated to making a meaningful impact!  This final series event will take place on September 28th at High Rocks Park along the beautiful Clackamas River from 10am-12pm, and we need your help to make it a success!

We will be meeting up on the pedestrian bridge crossing the river. This is located right next to the Gladstone DMV so if you're not sure how to get there follow the signs for the DMV. 

Advanced Registration: Is highly suggested but not required. Please sign up (green button below) ahead of time to guarantee your spot.

Meeting Location: We will be meeting on the pedestrian bridge crossing the Clackamas River located right next to the DMV.

What to Bring: Volunteers are encouraged to bring any personal supplies that will help our resources go further such as garbage bags, work gloves, buckets, trash grabbers, etc. Wear closed-toed shoes and dress for the weather. Bring a rain jacket if the forecast calls for rain and wear sunscreen and a hat if it is sunny. And it is recommended, but not required, that volunteers bring a re-usable water bottle to stay hydrated during the event.

What's Provided: SOLVE will provide work gloves, tools, and collection containers.

Restrooms: Porta potties are available at the park.

Parking: There is limited parking at High Rocks, but parking is located along 82nd Avenue.

Transit: Take the TriMet 32 Bus and exit at 82nd Ave. and Berkley. Walk to the destination which is about 700 feet or 4 minutes.

Accessibility: This area may not be easily accessible for folks with mobility concerns.

Translation Services: There will be a Spanish speaker present at this event.

Youth Volunteers: Volunteers between the ages of 13-17 may participate without an authorized adult.
