Business District Cleanup & Tree Well Groundbreaking - Old Town/Chinatown

Portland is a strong, resilient city, but it needs help. Join SOLVE on Wednesday, September 20 for our monthly Business District Cleanup, sponsored by Gevurtz Menashe, and Society Hotel to beautify our city, keep our waterways clean, and protect local wildlife from the harmful effects of trash. We will be removing litter from the local streets and business fronts, as well as partnering with the city to improve various tree wells in Old Town, leveling the wells prior to a new topper being added to help keep tree roots healthy and clean! A ‘Tree Well team’ option will be available at check-in and will walk together to the Society Hotel (just a few blocks away) where the ‘Tree Well Project’ will begin. Know that the work you are engaging in has many benefits for our community, our local Old Town businesses, and our environment. Be a part of this amazing project that will have long-lasting effects for this area, and especially for Old Town trees!

Advanced Registration: Is highly suggested but not required. Please sign up (green button below) ahead of time to guarantee your spot.
