Portland Business District Cleanup – Central Eastside

Portland is a strong, resilient city, but it needs help. Join SOLVE for our monthly Business District Cleanup to beautify our city, keep our waterways clean, and protect local wildlife from the harmful effects of trash. Know that the work you are engaging in has many benefits for our community, our local businesses, and our environment! Please note that this event is a litter cleanup and will not include graffiti removal.

The April Business District Cleanup is sponsored by Killian Pacific and Woofter Bolch Architecture.

Advanced Registration: Is highly suggested but not required. Please sign up (green button below) ahead of time to guarantee your spot.

Meeting Location: Volunteers will be meeting behind the Nova Building in the parking lot. Look for the SOLVE signs and volunteers wearing high-vis vests.

What to Bring: Volunteers are encouraged to bring any personal supplies will help our resources go further such as garbage bags, work gloves, buckets, trash grabbers, etc. Wear closed-toed shoes and dress for the weather. And it is recommended, but not required, that volunteers bring a re-usable water bottle to stay hydrated during the event.

What's Provided: SOLVE will provide trash grabbers, trash bags, work gloves, and high-vis vests.

Restrooms: No public restrooms are available

Parking: There is street parking available in the surrounding area.

Transit: The meeting location is one block off MLK Blvd., where there are several bus and streetcar lines.

Accessibility: This area is accessible for folks with mobility concerns.

Translation Services: There will be a Spanish speaker present at this event.

Youth Volunteers: Volunteers 13 and under must be accompanied by an authorized adult.
