Banfield Pet Hospital- Pick It Up! Portland
Pick It Up, Portland! is a two-day, city-wide event focusing on litter removal throughout our community presented by Pacific Power. On Saturday, June 24th choose from 15 different sites located along Portland's 7-mile stretch of 82nd Avenue. This event will begin at Banfield Pet Hospital and focus on 82nd Avenue and the surrounding neighborhoods. Help keep this important thoroughfare that connects so many of Portland's neighborhoods and districts clean to ensure it can be enjoyed by all.
Advanced Registration: Is required. Please sign up (green button below) ahead of time to guarantee your spot.
Meeting Location: Volunteers will be meeting at the Banfield Pet Hospital. Look for the SOLVE signs!

What to Bring: If you bring personal belongings, please bring a backpack so you can pick up trash hands-free. Dress for the weather, wear closed-toed shoes, and long pants. This event will go on rain or shine so bring a waterproof jacket if the forecast calls for rain.
What's Provided: SOLVE will provide trash grabbers, trash bags, work gloves, and high-vis vests.
Restrooms: No public restrooms are available
Parking: Please use the street parking that is available. The parking lot is used for customers/employees.
Transit: Take Max Bus line 72 to NE 82nd & Schuyler and walk 2 minutes to the Banfield Pet Hospital.
Accessibility: This area is accessible for folks with mobility concerns.
Translation Services: There will not be a Spanish speaker present at this event.
Youth Volunteers: Volunteers 13 and under must be accompanied by an authorized adult.
