Earth Day: Social Impact Jam

Make friends with other volunteers revitalizing Portland's public spaces. Celebrate with music, dancing, live art, and nourishment. Sound fun? Join us!

We will get into small teams and remove garbage and other items from the public beach to beautify the space and welcome folks into one of Portland's natural treasures. At the end of the event, we'll celebrate our work with a dance party!

Music will be DJ'd by DJ Lamar & Claudia Martinez via silent disco headphones -- be sure to sign up below to reserve your headphones! There will also be healthy snacks and live art. We look forward to jamming with you.

Advanced Registration: Is required. Please sign up (green button below) ahead of time to guarantee your spot.

Meeting Location: Volunteers will be meeting at the campsite at the Northern tip of the park. Look for the SOLVE signs.

What to Bring: Please bring a playful spirit and an open mind. Volunteers are encouraged to bring any personal supplies will help our resources go further such as garbage bags, personal gloves, trash grabbers, etc. Wear closed-toed shoes and dress for the weather.

What's Provided: SOLVE will provide trash grabbers, trash bags, work gloves, and high-vis vests.

Restrooms: There are restrooms near both parking lots.

Parking: There is plenty of parking, try the far parking lot first.

Transit: Not available nearby

Accessibility: This area may not be easily accessible for folks with mobility concerns.

Translation Services: There will not be a Spanish speaker present at this event.

Youth Volunteers: Volunteers 13 and under must be accompanied by an authorized adult.
