Urgent Need: Parkrose Neighborhood 102nd to 105th & Killingsworth

Join Solve in the NE Parkrose Neighborhood for an Urgent Need cleanup!  We will work in groups to pick up trash along NE Killingsworth between 105th to 102nd.

SOLVE defines an urgent need cleanup area as a site with a high concentration of litter that poses a threat to public safety and environmental quality. This urgent need cleanup is not family-friendly or suitable for anyone under the age of 18 due to an increased presence of hazardous materials. Safety guidelines will be put in place before the cleanup begins. 

Advanced Registration: Is highly suggested but not required. Please sign up (green button below) ahead of time to guarantee your spot.

Meeting Location: Parkrose Hardware Parking lot.

What to Bring: If you bring personal belongings, please bring a backpack so you can pick up trash hands-free. Dress for the weather, wear closed -toed shoes, and long pants. Barring extreme conditions, this event will go on rain or shine so bring a waterproof jacket if the forecast calls for rain.

What's Provided: SOLVE will provide trash grabbers, trash bags, work gloves, and high-vis vests.

Restrooms:  Available in Parkrose Hardware.

Parking: There will be parking available in the Parkrose Hardware Parking Lot. Look for the SOLVE signs.

Transit: TriMet bus 21 stops at NE Sandy and 105th which is about 700' or a 4 minute walk to the meeting location.

Accessibility: This area may not be easily accessible for folks with mobility concerns.

Youth Volunteers: No
