Portland North Park Blocks and surrounding area clean up event
A monthly PDX Clean Up event of the North Park Blocks and surrounding area on the 4th Wed of every month. Our team of friends/volunteers work to pick up litter in and around the Park Blocks. We are attempting to keep the Park Blocks clean, accessible and happy as a beautiful community asset by returning each month to pick up litter and maintain the area.
When: Wednesday, June 22, 2022 10:30 AM - 12:00 PM
Where: We meet at the north end of the PNCA (Pac NW College of Art) parking lot.

What's provided: Trash grabbers, work gloves, heavy duty litter bags and high vis-vests will be provided to all volunteers.
What to bring: Please come wearing a face covering, comfortable closed toed shoes, and your own work or garden gloves if you prefer. Wear a rain jacket if the weather report calls for rain. We also recommend that volunteers bring their own water bottle.
COVID Safety: We are asking volunteers to wear a mask at this event. During this event volunteers will be working in close proximity with each other so we are requesting that all participants stay masked throughout the entire event.
Where to meet: North Park blocks in parking lot of PNCA 511 NW Broadway. Paid street parking is available on the Park Blocks and the surrounding area.

Bathrooms: There will be no public restrooms available during this event. Although there will be restrooms available at nearby shops.
Accessibility: The check-in location will be in an area that is wheelchair accessible. The majority of the cleanup area is on city sidewalks that are wheelchair accessible.
Youth Volunteers: Children are welcome if accompanied by an attentive adult. Youth volunteers ages 13-17 can also create their own SOLVE account online.
