Marx Drive clean up

We're going to take another swing at the dead-end of Marx Drive off of 92nd Avenue, in NE Portland. We filled a dumpster at the end of April, but there's another dumpster's worth of garbage waiting for a good crew of pickers. We're doing this in conjunction with the Columbia Slough Watershed Council, which is hosting the Great Slough Clean Up that day, because Marx Drive runs along a branch of the slough. There's plenty to pick up on land and along the bank of the slough, but if anyone wants to wade into the water to pull out garbage we can probably come up with hip boots. A kayak would also come in handy for the difficult items. Don't be discouraged from joining if you're not into that level of heroics; there's a couple of tons of garbage along the roadside.
