Palomino Loop Trail—June Work Party
Hauling, lopping, yanking, pulling and stomping. Yes! We got a great start dragging debris to bins, yanking out invasive plants and pulling ivy with our volunteers in April and May. We would love to have you join us as we continue our work.
We'll be working together every fourth Sunday in the month from now through October as we continue to clear invasive species and debris from the Palomino Loop Trail in the Hidden Springs neighborhood of West Linn. We'll meet at the playground at Palomino Park on Palomino Way and start working our way down the trail.
All kinds of support is welcome. No tools are needed, just a willingness to uproot vines and other invasive plants and lug debris-filled tarps to the bins.
Bring loppers or ivy diggers if you have them. Wear long sleeves and pants, heavy gloves and good boots. Parts of the trail are very steep. We'll have some gloves and tools available. Bring your filled water bottle.
Age Minimum (with Adult): 5+, Minimum Age:13+
