Arbor Lodge Park - Spring Garden Work Party

Join SOLVE and community members of the Arbor Lodge neighborhood for our spring garden work party at Arbor Lodge Park! This event is open to volunteers of all ages - everyone is welcome, and no experience is necessary. Arbor Lodge Park is a pesticide-free park and needs the help of volunteers like you to help keep it clean and healthy. Volunteer activities during this event include removing park debris, maintenance on baseball field & dugouts, and removing invasive plants.  

The family-friendly event is a great way to keep the park looking welcoming and clean but also a fun way to connect with your neighbors in the community!

When: Sunday, March 27th, 2021, 9:00 AM - 12:00 PM

Advanced Registration Requested: Pre-registration is encouraged - please sign up (green button below) ahead of time so you can sign our electronic waiver to help avoid crowding during check-in.​

Meeting Location: Meet at the east side of Arbor Lodge Park at the corner of N Delaware Avenue and N Saratoga Street. Map Link Here

What's Provided: Garden tools, safety vests, and rubber palm work gloves are provided for all participants. Snacks & refreshments will also be provided.

What to Bring: Please come wearing closed-toed shoes, garden gloves, and please dress for the weather.

Parking: Parking is available along nearby streets.

Bathrooms: There will be public restrooms available at the Arbor Lodge Park during this event.

Accessibility: The check-in location will be in an area that is wheelchair accessible. The majority of the garden cleanup area is on park sidewalks that are wheelchair accessible.
