Central Eastside Industrial Council (CEIC) Cleanup Event at SE Oak and 9th
Join SOLVE, the Central Eastside Industrial Council, and community members for a litter cleanup in the Central Eastside Industrial District on Thursday November 18th from 10:00 am - 12:30 pm. Help keep our waterways and streets clean, enjoy some time outside and do something great for the city we love! Volunteers will check-in, gear up, and then spread out into the nearby streets. Please note that this event is a litter cleanup and will not include graffiti removal.
When: Thursday November 18th, 2021, 10:00 am - 12:30 pm
Staggered Check-In: Event check-in will run from 10:00 AM to 10:30 AM. Arrive any time during this window. This will allow for a smaller crowd than checking in all at once. The event will run through 12:30 PM.
Advanced Registration Required: Pre-registration is required! Please sign up (green button below) ahead of time so you can sign our electronic waiver to help avoid crowding during check-in.
Meeting Location: The parking lot of Spork Bytes at 901 SE Oak St Ste 106, Portland, OR 97214. Map Link.
What's Provided: Heavy-duty garbage bags, litter grabbers, safety vests, and rubber palm work gloves are provided for all participants. There will also be water bottles available to all volunteers.
What to Bring: Please come wearing a face covering, closed-toed shoes, and please dress for the weather. This event will go on rain or shine.
Parking: Paid parking available along nearby streets.
Bathrooms: Bathrooms will be made available inside the store.
Accessibility: The check-in location will be in an area that is wheelchair accessible. The majority of the cleanup area is on city sidewalks that are wheelchair accessible.
