Sandy River Cleanup Event in Troutdale
Join the fun! SOLVE and the Sandy River Watershed Council invite you to join in on a cleanup event to remove litter from the trails surrounding the Sandy River near the town of Troutdale. Let's work together to keep trash out of the beautiful Sandy and protect local wildlife from harmful plastics!
This project is supported by the Troutdale Community Enhancement Grant.
When: Saturday, November 14th, 2020 from 10:00 am to 12:30 pm
Advanced Registration Required: Pre-registration is required! Please sign up (Green Button Below) ahead of time so we know how many volunteers to expect and to fill out the volunteer waiver form.
What to Bring: Please come wearing a face covering. Wear close toed shoes, long pants, bring a water bottle, snacks, and dress for the weather. Bring gloves and a litter grabber if you have one. Otherwise, we will provide them for you. Volunteers are required to wear a face covering throughout the event.
What's Provided: SOLVE will provide vinyl gloves, heavy duty garbage bags and litter grabbers to all participants.
Children/ Event Size: Children are welcome and encouraged to attend. Children must be accompanied by an attentive adult. This event is currently limited to 25 participants. If you sign up and are put on the waiting list, SOLVE will notify you if a spot opens up.
Meeting Location: Participants will meet at Glen Otto park in Troutdale.
Bathrooms: There is a public restroom at the park.
