Northwest Neighborhood Cleanup
Please join SOLVE and community members from the Northwest neighborhood as we take care of the city we love. This event is a litter cleanup and will not include graffiti removal. Let's do what we can together to keep Portland beautiful and to remove trash before it washes into our rivers and ocean.
When: Wednesday August 26th, 2020 10:00am - 12:00pm
Meeting Location: Volunteers will be meeting at Wallace Park near NW Raleigh St and 25th ave. Look for SOLVE signs to guide you to the check in tables.
What's Provided: Heavy-duty garbage bags, litter grabbers and vinyl gloves.
What to Bring: Please come wearing a mask, closed-toed shoes, with a filled reusable water bottle. If you have your own gloves, litter grabber, litter bag, or bucket, you are encouraged to bring those as well. Observe social distancing during check in and throughout the cleanup.
Staggered Check In: Event check in will run from 10:00 - 10:30am. Arrive any time during this window. This will allow for a smaller crowd than checking in all at once. The event will end at 12:00pm.
Restrooms: Public restrooms will not be available during this event. Please plan accordingly.
Advanced Registration: Pre-registration is required! Please sign up (Green Button Below) ahead of time so we know how many volunteers to expect and to fill out the volunteer waiver form.
Parking: Parking is available on the streets.
