Sauvie Island Walton Beach Cleanup
This is a self directed cleanup of a stretch of beach along the beautiful Columbia River on Sauvie Island. Sauvie Island is a federal wildlife preserve and currently supports a biologically diverse association of wildlife which includes at least 275 species of birds, 37 species of mammals, 12 species of reptiles and amphibians. It is also home to many farms that bring us delicious vegetables, fruits and preserves. Sauvie is also home to the Pumpkin Patch!
When: Meet at: 9 AM, June 26th, 2021

Getting There/ Parking: Walking or biking to the event is encouraged. Street parking is also available.
What's Provided: Bags, gloves, sifters and site safety information will be available on the day of the event. All ages are welcome but youth under 18 will need parental permission to attend alone.
Please Bring: Dress appropriately for the weather and for beach walking, and please bring a wear a face covering. Bring a water bottle!
Restrooms: Restrooms will not be available so plan accordingly.
