Willamette River Superfund Tour, Litter Cleanup & Nature Walk!
Join together with SOLVE and the Audubon Society of Portland to clean up litter and watch birds on a Willamette River beach. Hear from Portland Audubon conservation staff about the nearly 3 decades-long battle to clean up the Portland Harbor Superfund site along the Willamette River; including an update on the current cleanup underway, future cleanup plans with opportunity for input, and efforts to ensure public access and a restored natural river ecosystem are realized in the near future. Families are welcome to attend.

Meeting Location: Volunteers will be meeting at the end of N Van Houton Place road. Address is 6298 N Van Houten Pl. Portland OR. MAP LINK
What's Provided: All tools and litter cleanup supplies will be provided.
What to Bring: Please come wearing a mask, closed-toed shoes, long pants, a filled reusable water bottle, snack, and sun hat. Bring binoculars if you have them, but it’s totally OK if you don’t! Observe 6-foot physical distancing during check-in and throughout the event.
Restrooms: There are no public restrooms available during this event. Please plan accordingly.
Parking: Free parking. Do not leave valuables in your vehicle, please.
