Sponsored by the Hazelwood Neighborhood Association, Fred Meyer Gateway, The Oregon Clinic, and Realty Brokers.
Cleanup of roadside areas in the Gateway Business district, including Pacific Street between NE 99th Ave. and NE 102nd Ave., NE 99th Ave. from the I-205 ramp to NE Pacific St., NE 102nd between NE Glisan and NE Weidler, NE Halsey and Weidler Sts between  NE 102nd Ave. and NE 108th Ave., and around Gateway Discovery Park. 


When: Saturday, June 12, 2021 9:00AM-12:00PM

Where: We will be meeting at the SW corner of the Gateway Fred Meyer Parking lot at 9 am. MAP LINK

Staggered Check In: To avoid a crowd at check in, arrive anytime between 9:00 - 9:30am for check in. Event will run until 12:00 pm.

Getting There/Parking: Free parking will be available in the Fred Meyer Parking lot.
Gateway Transit Center is the closest MAX stop and is served by the Yellow, Red, and Blue lines. 

What's Provided: SOLVE provides trash grabbers, trash bags, work gloves, and high vis-vests; however, you may bring your own rubberized garden gloves or work gloves and grabber to use if you wish.

What to Bring: Please come wearing a mask, hat with brim, comfortable closed-toed shoes, and bring a filled reusable water bottle, and a backpack so you can be hands-free. Snacks and drinks will be provided by the sponsors.

Advanced Registration: Pre-registration is required! Please sign up (Green Button Below) ahead of time so we know how many volunteers to expect, and to fill out the volunteer waiver form.

COVID Safety: All volunteers are instructed to wear a face covering and to observe social distancing throughout the cleanup.  

Restrooms: Restrooms will be available in the Gateway Fred Meyer Store and at the Gateway Discovery Park.

Youth Volunteers: Open to all volunteers 18+ years of age and 16+ years of age with an adult. A youth volunteer can attend without their guardian if they print out and bring a signed youth waiver form.
