Braking Cycles May 1st Powell Cleanup Event

Transitional Youth and Braking Cycles is hosting an outreach cleanup event on SE Powell Saturday, May 1, from 10:00 am - 12:00 pm. Braking Cycles Coffee & Bikes is a non-profit shop that exists to serve the at-risk youth in our communities. Under the Transitional Youth umbrella, Braking Cycles gives teens at risk of homelessness and kids in the foster care system a safe place to develop a work ethic that they can bring into the real world. We are inviting everyone to partner with us and our goal of reaching the marginalized in our community and to give back by helping pickup trash in the neighborhood. We will start at Braking Cycles at 10 am and work our way east of Powell toward I-205. For more information regarding Braking Cycles.
