Boise-Eliot / Irvington Neighborhood Cleanup (Se habla español)
Come together with SOLVE and community members for a cleanup in the Boise- Elliot/Irvington Neighborhoods starting at Irvington Park! This event will be entirely outdoors and will comply with social distancing guidelines. After a safety talk and getting cleanup supplies, we will spend a couple of hours picking up litter in the neighborhood to improve our community and protect our ecosystem. Join us in making Portland a better place!
When: Wednesday, March 31st, 10 am to 12:30 pm
Location: Irving Park
Meeting Location: Meet in the northwest corner of the park near the basketball courts close to the intersection of 7th Avenue and NE Fremont.

Advanced Registration Required: Pre-registration is required! Please sign up by clicking on the GREEN button below.
What's Provided: Heavy-duty garbage bags, litter grabbers, high-vis vests, and gloves are provided to all participants that need them.
What to Bring: All participants must wear a MASK. Please your own gloves if you have them. Also, dress for the weather. Wear closed-toed shoes and bring a jacket.
Restrooms: There is usually a porta-potty available at this location. We cant say for sure if it will be clean and open, or not.
Accessibility: The check-in area is in a place that is wheelchair accessible. Most of the cleanup work will take place on city sidewalks that are wheelchair accessible. Please reach out if you have any questions or a need for accommodations. We will do our best to support you.
Youth Volunteers: Children are welcome if accompanied by an attentive adult. Youth volunteers ages 14-17 will have to have their guardian sign a separate youth waiver form if they are attending a SOLVE event without a guardian. Find link to youth waiver form here.
