SURE Spring 2021 Umatilla River Cleanup - Pendleton

Everyone is welcome to this socially-distanced river cleanup event, sponsored by Stewards of the Umatilla River Environment (SURE), Umatilla Basin Watershed Council, the Pendleton Tree Commission and the East Oregonian. Meet behind the East Oregonian at the new offices of the Umatilla Basin Watershed Council, 27 SE Third St. Pendleton at 9:30 a.m. for signups and instructions. We'll provide gloves and trashbags, and direct you to a stretch of the River Parkway. The trash you gather can be left in piles on the parkway along the low wall for pick-up by Pendleton Parks & Rec. Bring family, friends and colleagues!

The Pendleton Tree Commission and U.S. Forest Service will be there, giving out free native plants and trees, for planting in your garden or yard.
