Litter Cleanup

Age Minimum (with Adult): 1+, Minimum Age:13+

Tuesdays for Trash - Boise Trash Pickup Event

We need to come together to help our most vulnerable members of our communities. As it is Black History Month we are specifically focusing on Black communities and the disproportionate impact they face when it comes to litter and trash in their neighborhoods.

That is why Tuesdays for Trash have joined forces with SOLVE and Detrash Portland to organize a trash pickup event at Denorval Unthank City Park as a way to give back to Portland’s traditionally black Boise-Albina neighborhoods. Litter cleanup beautifies our city and is a great opportunity to reflect on what the root causes are of the waste management issue as well as how we can make a difference for those on the frontlines.
