Join us in a project to help clean up our Hillsboro Police Station landscaping! We will be removing litter from and cutting back a majorly overgrown Cotoneaster hedge that is blocking the sidewalk along Washington Street between 11th and 12th Ave. Once we have exposed the sidewalk and made the area safer, we will be adding new mulch to the bed to really make the area look clean and cared for. This project will not only benefit the curb appeal of the Hillsboro Police Station and the Max Station, but will also make this sidewalk much more friendly, especially to those of our neighbors who need ADA accessible walkways. 

This project will be physical, so we ask that you be prepared to work hard! Bring some water, dress appropriately for the weather, and bring your mask to ensure the safety of all volunteers. We will be meeting along Washington Street between 11th and 12th Ave. There is some street parking along Washington, but it is extremely limited so plan ahead to make sure that you can get there safely.
