Thank you for your interest in volunteering! In honor of the Martin Luther King, Jr. Day of Service, Clark County parks will host a park maintenance event at Lacamas Regional Park. Activities will include the removal of invasive Scotch broom, English Ivy, blackberry, litter collection throughout the park and general park beautification.
By offering different activities, we hope to maximize our service efforts in honor of the legacy of Martin Luther King, Jr. Carpooling is encouraged as parking is limited.
You should wear weather-appropriate clothing (and clothes you don't mind getting dirty!), long pants and closed-toe shoes. Bring a reusable water bottle if you have one. Light refreshments and tools will be provided.
Youth 13 and younger can volunteer with a parent or guardian. Teenagers 14 to 17 years old need to have signed minor consent forms to volunteer without a parent or guardian. Please copy and paste this URL into your browser to access the form: http://bit.ly/EventConsent.
If you have any questions please contact the Volunteer Program Coordinator, Dora Hernandez, at 564.397.1679 or firstname.lastname@example.org.
