Volunteer Training: Become a SOLVE Event Leader
In partnership with the City of Portland, SOLVE is training and supporting volunteers to clean up Portland's parks, neighborhoods, business districts and everything in between. Now is your chance to make a big difference in your community by joining SOLVE in a city-wide effort to remove litter from our community.
In this one day training, SOLVE staff will train volunteers to create and run their own litter clean up events. With your help, making Portland’s public spaces safer and more welcoming can begin today. This hands on training will show you how to:
- Run a cleanup event that is safe, fun and productive
- Succesfully plan your own event in a place you choose
- Recruit volunteers and promote your event
- Use SOLVE's cleanup equipment, online leader portal, and waiver forms
Volunteers will also learn how to support SOLVE events that have already been set up by SOLVE staff, and are open to the public. Space is limited to 15 participants. Please contact Dan Daly with any questions. firstname.lastname@example.org 971- 346- 2708. Thank you for your dedication to keeping Oregon clean and healthy!
