Wilderness Park West Linn Ivy and Blackberry removal
Friends of Wilderness Park is a new group linking up with the West Linn Park and Rec Dept, to help make this 52-acre park a little more beautiful and to remove invasive plants like ivy and blackberry bushes.
Wilderness Park has a number of trails, and is a place for walking, running and doing off-road biking.
Address: Wilderness Park, 22101 Clark Street, West Linn, OR 97068. The entrance is off Clark Street at Skyline.
If you'd like to join others to help pull ivy and blackberry bushes near the entrance to the park, we welcome you to help us on Saturday, September 28, 2019 from 9:00 to 12 noon. Refreshments will be served. We will provide gloves, snacks and water.
Please dress per the weather and be sure to wear long sleeves and long pants. If you know someone who needs community service hours for school, this is a great place to earn those hours. If you'd like to check out the park before you go, you can find it at: https://westlinnoregon.gov/parksrec/wilderness-park
