We at SOLVE, have taken time to reflect on the challenging and traumatic events of the past few weeks, and how we can support Black communities in Oregon. We have a lot of work to do. Invasive Plant Removal, Litter Cleanup

Age Minimum (with Adult): 6+, Minimum Age:14+

Champoeg Willamette Riverside Cleanup

Champoeg was once a thriving town along the Willamette River. Now it is being restored to native prairie through a project called “Plants for People: Bringing Traditional Ecological Knowledge to Restoration”. Join us as we remove invasive blackberry, ivy, black locust and trash between the restored prairie and the Willamette River and open up the view to the river. Wear close toed shoes and dress for the weather. Coffee, light snacks and water provided. If you have a favorite pair of gardening gloves, pruners and / or loppers, bring them. We will also provide tools and gloves.  When you arrive you will need to sign a volunteer form / waiver for yourself and any minor with you.
