Dalton Lake Columbia River Tidal Flats

UPDATE: Thank you for your interest in the Dalton Lake SOLVE project on Saturday, September 21st. We have permission to park nearer to our work area location. Rather than park at the location indicated on the SOLVE website you can park near the City of St. Helens water filtration facility in COLUMBIA CITY.

From Hwy 30 turn EAST onto L St.

You will cross over the railroad tracks on a bridge.

Turn right (south) on 4th St. (not 4th Pl.).

Go south on 4th St. to where it meets Rutherford Parkway and you will see the SOLVE sign.

We will pick up trash and debris along a 1/4 mile stretch of the Columbia river by Dalton Lake between St. Helens and Columbia City between high and low tides. Additonally we will collect trash and debris along other walking trails near the lake.
