Happy Valley Heights Natural Area Tree Planting
Join Friends of Trees in partnership with North Clackamas Urban Watersheds Council to plant native trees and shrubs near the headwaters of Mount Scott Creek!
This planting is possible with the support of Clackamas County Water Environment Services, the Oregon Watershed Enhancement Board, Happy Valley Heights Homeowners Association, One Tree Planted, and the Bonneville Environmental Foundation.
Hundreds of native trees and shrubs are ready to be planted at this site -- and your help is much appreciated to ensure they can be planted in their new home! RSVPs kindly requested.
When: Saturday, April 20, 8:45am to 1pm
Where: 11418 SE Norwood Loop, Happy Valley, OR 97086 - MAP
Please arrive by 8:45am to sign-in and enjoy some breakfast treats and coffee, tea, or hot chocolate. The planting starts promptly at 9:00am. We provide gloves, tools, and guidance, so all you need to do is show up dressed for the weather and wearing sturdy shoes or boots – and be ready to have fun!
How do I register? All individuals and groups are kindly asked to RSVP to save your spot(s) by filling out the quick Registration Form.
Registration is highly recommended but not required.
Under age 18? A signed youth waiver is required for you to volunteer. We ask that youth 15 years and younger are accompanied by an adult.
