Earth Day at Baltimore Woods
Help the Friends clear invasive vines from native plants to help restore a sunny wooded hillside. The Friends of Baltimore Woods seek to restore a native oak woodland and meadow in north Portland that will someday house the regional Willamette Greenway Trail. The group is concentrating on a wooded tract adjacent to the future trail on N. Decatur alley, with views of the St. Johns Bridge, Willamette River and Forest Park hills.
Tools, water, hot drinks, snacks provided.
There will be short, walking tour on level ground at 9:30am to give an overview.
