Devil's Punchbowl Microplastic Cleanup 3/10
Join Surfrider at Devil's Punch Bowl State Natural Area from 10 AM – 2 PM!
This area is part of the Otter Rock Marine Reserve, home to tidepools, seals, sea lions, and seabird nesting sites. By volunteering, you can help protect wildlife in this beautiful section of coast!
Help us protect marine life and maintain the beauty of our coast. Be prepared by dressing for any weather and wear sturdy shoes.
SOLVE will provide bags and gloves as well as some sifters. However, you are encouraged to bring your own reusable bucket/bag, collander, rake, gloves, and water bottle to help reduce plastic waste. We encourage you to be creative with ideas to collect microplastic in the sand - Booms, snow shovels, shovels with a straight edge, netting material, large dust pans, etc.
