White Oak Savanna Fire Wise Earth Day
We recently saved this 20 acre beautiful White Oak Savanna from commercial development. Joni Mithcell let us use her song, "Big, Yellow, Taxi". Come and help us to trim the Blackberry and other invasive plant starts that are fuel for fires. In the past sevral years, we have had more than 15,800 hours donated by people who love this place. We hope that you'll join us this year and bring a pair of loppers or shears if you have them. There is a lovely view of the Willamette Narrows at the top of the trail and we hope that you'll stay and enjoy it and the swings on the trees, too. Spend Earth Day helping to restore this special place. Please wear long sleeves, long pants, a jacket, work gloves, good working shoes or boots, a hat, and sunscreen. Bring water so you'll stay hydrated.
