Englewood Park Habitat Restoration MLK Day!
Help remove ivy and blackberry in preparation for planting native plants next year.
Englewood Park is an historic wooded park in Salem with over 200 Douglas fir and Oregon white oak trees, some that predate the pioneers. It is the first park purchased by the City of Salem in 1926. Learn about our native forest and be part of creating a beautiful habitat for birds and pollinators in Northeast Salem's park influenced by Lord & Schryver, renown female landscape architects.
Please dress for the weather with long sleeves and pants and sturdy shoes. Bring a reusable water bottle to stay hydrated. We look forward to seeing you there!
