Day 4:   

Get to know your Soil and Water Conservation District!

Only participate in this activity if you feel healthy and can safely walk around your neighborhood while maintaining a distance from people outside of your household.  

Use the link below to find your area’s Soil and Water Conservation District’s website. Each District’s website will have information about what invasive plant species are particularly troublesome in your area. Then, while enjoying time in your backyard or a walk in your neighborhood, be on the lookout for the invasive plant species. If you find a particularly large area of an invasive plant species, you may want to email your district to be sure they are aware of the problem area. Make sure to only remove invasive plants you find on your own property.
