Families are welcome to help the Friends of Maddax Woods clean the trails and garden areas in the park. Make this a monthly tradition! All ages and ability levels are needed. We have tools and gloves and provide donated refreshments for all. Please dress for the weather and wear sturdy shoes.

Join Portland Parks & Recreation's No Ivy League and SOLVE for a morning of invasive species removal in Forest Park. Tools, gloves, instruction, coffee/tea and snacks will be provided. Please dress for the weather, bring rain gear, wear sturdy shoes and bring a water bottle. Volunteers will take a short hike (up to 1 mile) to the site and will be working on uneven ground.

Task: Litter pick up, invasive species removal.
No experience necessary! Wear long thick pants, a long-sleeved shirt and sturdy shoes. Bring a water bottle, rain gear, warm clothes and a sunhat. Instruction, tools, gloves, water, coffee/tea and snacks provided.

Where: Errol Heights Park entrance on SE Harney. (Intersection of SE Harney and SE 45th Ave. Portland, OR 97222)

On August 18 2018 the Yachats Trails Committee, Overleaf Lodge and Spa, Dahl Disposal Seravice, Oregon Parks and Recreation Department and SOLVE will partner to support the 10th Annual 804 Ivy Pull in Yachats. This popular volunteer event continues the Yachats community's efforts to manage invasive ivy on the historic 804 Trail and restore natural habitat. The work session will be followed by a barbecue with potluck desserts and side dishes. All volunteers who complete the work session will receive a day pass for the Overleaf Spa and will also be entered in a drawing for a spa gift certificate.
Join volunteers for this monthly Third Saturday Cleanup in Northwest Portland. Pick up litter and remove graffiti in the area. Join us for some coffee and conversation afterward. Thank you to Trader Joe's for donating disposal.
Volunteers should come prepared with work gloves on cold days.
