Mary S. Young Park Work Party for February

Join us at the beloved Mary S. Young Park to remove ivy at these first Saturday work days. Volunteers have worked continuously for more than 8 years to remove ivy and other non-native vegetation, plant native plants and trees, build trails, etc. You will get a good workout and feel good about contributing to the health of this beautiful forest. Tools are provided. Work gloves and sturdy footwear recommended. Activities include: Invasive Plant Removal.

  • Directions

    South on Hwy. 43 from Lake Oswego and turn left into Mary S. Young Park. If travelling from I-205, go north on Hwy. 43 towards Lake Oswego and turn right into Mary S. Young Park. Drive to end of road across from large field/dog park. We will meet at the covered picnic area.

  • Meeting Spot

    Off Street Paved Parking Available (bypass the first gravel lot and continue through park to the paved parking). Volunteers are asked to meet in the large covered shelter near the paved parking (opposite the off-leash dog area). Refreshments provided.
